What is SimpleFolk.Net???

Simplefolk.net is a website 100% about you, but not the “you” that you have learned to be. We are about the “you” that you were born to be. Simplefolk.net gets to the core of who we really are, and what our needs truly are. We are all very simple when you get to the root of our being. It is only through this life that we have become complicated and difficult to figure out. The problem is that we have become  so complicated that it can be difficult for us to figure ourselves out. Many of us find ourselves caught in a maze of broken relationships, financial obligations, unfulfilling use of drugs and alcohol, and endless routines that seem to go nowhere, but in circles.

 Life seems to get more and more complex as technology and information expands. Ironically,  we have information virtually at the click of a button, however the answers we are really looking for seem to be light years away. In this age we hunger for simplicity. We want people to get right to the point, and we want them to “keep it real”. Well, that is exactly what Simplefolk.net is all about, “keeping it real”. We want to bring some reality back to a world filled with edited video, photo-shopped pictures, plastic surgeries, and opinions by the pound.

 We believe that the truth that clarifies what reality is, can be discovered through the timeless teachings of Jesus. Yeah, that’s right, we said it… Jesus. Though, Jesus has become many different things to many people throughout the years, He has really never changed, only people’s perception of what he stands for. His words are simultaneously the most compelling and most the misunderstood. Many of us would like to understand, but have found the search to be complex and maybe even discouraging. Our plan is to change that.

 We want to hear your voice and our hope is that you will hear ours. We are all about people, regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or political affiliation. Jesus gave himself for white men and black men, Asians, Latinos, and any man or woman that ever walked the face of this Earth. He paid the price for the heterosexual, the homosexual, the Democrats, and the Republicans. He is all about people and what makes them tick, and so are we.

 We welcome everyone to visit our site and join our discussions. Respond according to your beliefs. We want to know how you feel about the questions that we all ask ourselves at some point in life. Also take the time to watch our short video answers to some of life’s most challenging questions. Even if you never agree with our answers, we hope that you will at least gain an accurate understanding of our stance.

 We know that some of you could care less about anything that we have to say, but we are betting that there are many others that have an interest in something genuine from real people just like themselves. Through this website you will be exposed to a side of Christianity that some of you never knew existed, a real side. Our desire is to represent the teachings of Christ accurately to every visitor to this website and give you an opportunity to get simple answers for your simple questions. So, lets talk.
